The Lord of the Rings Return to Moria Steam Page Goes Live
TapTechNews June 1st news, the Steam page of the originally Epic-exclusive adventure game The Lord of the Rings: Return to Moria went live, supporting Simplified Chinese, and the release date has not been determined yet. As a reference, the price of this game on Epic is $24.99 (TapTechNews note: about 181 yuan currently).
This is the only survival game set in the iconic fantasy world created by J.R.R. Tolkien: Middle-earth in the Fourth Age, telling the story of the dwarves' journey to regain their fabled hometown of Moria under the Misty Mountains. Players need to cooperate with each other, survive, build and construct, and explore this ever-expanding iconic mine. Brave explorers must be on guard at all times, as mysterious dangers await them.
Regaining the hometown of the dwarfs, Moria
Players will play as a dwarf summoned to the Misty Mountains by Gimli the King of the Glittering Caves, and need to lead a team of dwarfs and take on the responsibility of recapturing those lost spoils from beneath Moria, also known as Khazad-dûm or the Dwarven Delve.
The stage of this game is the procedurally generated Dwarven realm of Moria, no two adventures will be the same, each expedition can be completed alone or jointly with companions through online play. Players can mine to build more powerful equipment and resources, but mining minerals makes a noise that wakes up the dangerous things sleeping in this silent depth: wherever there is noise, there is fighting. Uncover the mystery and precious metals hidden in the three fabled mountains, fight against the unnamable existence while surviving and learn the secrets lurking in the depths.

Survive in the darkness: To survive in the treacherous Moria mines, players must conserve resources, hunt and gather food, and also manage sleep, temperature and noise levels. Use the dynamic light system to ensure their own safety and open up a path straight into the darkness. In the bloody battles, face the unnamable evil existence and hordes of grotesque orcs, while uncovering the secrets lurking in the depths of the mountains.
Build a base: Find comfort in the darkness. Discover and clear new locations and build large-scale structures. Use creativity to build a base from scratch or build on the existing environment. Beware of the evil existence that tries to undermine the dwarfs' progress.
Rebuild and reshape Moria: Restore the lost ancient Kingdom of Khazad-dûm to its former glory and rebuild the dwarf landmarks as the story progresses. Restart the old mines and workshops to reclaim the resources.
Explore: Dive deep into the deepest parts of the Moria mines, a procedurally generated environment full of resources but also with mysteries and dangers, providing a unique experience with each exploration.
Cooperative multiplayer play: Adventure alone or cooperate with up to eight players in online multiplayer mode.
Build dwarf tools, weapons and more items: Build and loot legendary dwarf armor, tools, weapons and structures. Rebuild the old workshops to strengthen, repair and enchant the equipment. Upgrade and unlock new technologies and fantasy machines.
Discover magic artifacts: Discover ancient magic items such as a sword that glows when orcs approach, mineable mithril ore, and blueprints that allow you to make amulets that give you power or wisdom.
Mine minerals and gems: Set up mines and dig precious resources such as iron, gold and quartz; and fantasy materials such as mithril. Use the crafting stations and foundry to convert ores into ore ingots to upgrade equipment. But be prepared, mining is very noisy and will wake up what is lurking in the darkness.
Comprehensive dwarf customization tools: Players can create their own dwarf in the custom character editor and create their own dwarf legend.
