TapTechNews October 11th news, the tech media AppleInsider released a blog post today (October 11th), reporting that good news came from the AsahiLinux project. The team overcame numerous challenges and solved a series of problems to allow Mac players to run AAA-level games more smoothly.
TapTechNews had reported that the AsahiLinux project team made the driver reach the OpenGL4.6 and OpenGLES3.2 standards on AppleSilicon-chip-based Mac devices in February this year.
AlyssaRosenzweig said in a blog post yesterday (October 10th) that AsahiLinux further optimized the driver to make it compatible with driver standards such as OpenGL, OpenCL, and Vulkan , and support the running of multiple AAA-level games through the Asahi game toolkit.
The new Alpha version of the Asahi game toolkit can run multiple games including Control and Portal 2 normally through the x86 emulator and Windows compatibility integrated with the Vulkan1.3 driver program.
