TapTechNews July 5th news, Yiche.com today shared the real car photos of the new Toyota Avalon. This model is built on the new TNGA architecture's K platform, adjusted the exterior details and infotainment system, and added two new colors, Pioneer Gray and Functional Green. It is expected to be launched in July this year.
In terms of appearance, it is reported that the car will offer two grille shapes. The 2.5L model will adopt a star-diamond grille shape with a large-sized grille combined with internal diamond-shaped elements; the 2.0L model adopts a dense-radiation horizontal trim shape. The overall design of the new car doesn't change much, with long and narrow lamp groups on both sides, and the internal LED daytime running light groups present an L-shaped design.
In terms of body size, the new car's length, width and height are 4990/1850/1450mm (approx. 164.57/72.83/57.09 inches), and the wheelbase is 2870mm (approx. 112.99 inches), which remains the same as the current model.
In terms of the rear of the car, the new car adopts the currently popular through-type taillight design, and the exhaust uses a concealed layout, making the entire rear look more fashionable.
In terms of power, according to the previous declaration information, the new car will launch three power versions. The new 2.0L hybrid version has a maximum engine power of 112 kilowatts (approx. 150 horsepower), the 2.0L fuel version has a maximum power of 127 kilowatts (approx. 170 horsepower), and the 2.5L hybrid version's engine has a maximum power of 136 kilowatts (approx. 182 horsepower).
