Lexus New LX Model Debuts with Hybrid System and Advanced Features

TapTechNews noticed that the new Lexus LX adopts the latest design language and especially launches the OVERTRAIL version, equipped with the unique Moon Shadow Sand exterior color, and matched with black-themed exterior kits, including bright black cut front grille, smoked door handles, exterior rearview mirrors, side window frame trim and roof luggage rack, etc., as well as matte gray aluminum alloy wheels.
The new LX adopts a waterproof structural design, encapsulating the main battery of the hybrid power system at the rear floor in the upper and lower layered waterproof trays. This design ensures that the vehicle can effectively prevent water seepage when wading through water, and the vehicle's wading depth can reach 27.56 inches (about 700 millimeters).
In the interior, the new car is equipped with a 12.3-inch LCD instrument panel. In addition to displaying regular information such as the voltage of the auxiliary battery and the engine oil pressure, the driver can also customize the display content. In addition, the electronic shift system is applied to Lexus off-road four-wheel drive models for the first time. The new car is also equipped with front comfortable seats, which users can turn on or off through the central display screen, with five massage modes (including two full-body massages and three local massages), and the massage intensity can also be adjusted in five gears.
The new car is equipped with Lexus Intelligent Safety System LSS+3.0, which can provide intelligent operation assistance based on various situations and optimize control according to the driver's condition. Combined with the driver monitoring system, it greatly improves driving safety. The LX700h model is equipped with a brand-new parallel hybrid power system, combining the motor with the clutch and placing it between the 3.5-liter V6 twin-turbocharged engine and the 10-speed automatic transmission. The model retains the core configurations such as all-time four-wheel drive, the low-speed gear of the transfer case and the automatic transmission equipped with a torque converter, ensuring that the strong combined power and torque of the engine and motor can be efficiently output. The combined maximum power of the entire power system is 341 kilowatts, and the maximum torque is 790 newton-meters. In addition to the central differential lock standard on all models, the OVERTRAIL version is also equipped with front and rear differential locks and is equipped with 265/70R18 exclusive all-terrain tires.
