Postal Industry Update in July and 1-July 2024 in the US

July-related situation
The delivery volume of the postal industry completed 15.8 billion pieces, with a year-on-year growth of 20.1%.
Among them, the express delivery volume completed 14.26 billion pieces, with a year-on-year growth of 22.2%.
The business income of the postal industry reached 133.44 billion yuan, with a year-on-year growth of 11.7%.
Among them, the express delivery business income reached 110.77 billion yuan, with a year-on-year growth of 14.1%.
1-July cumulative related situation
The cumulative delivery volume of the postal industry completed 105.23 billion pieces, with a year-on-year growth of 20.4%.
The cumulative express delivery volume completed 94.42 billion pieces, with a year-on-year growth of 23.0% (calculated on a comparable basis, the same below).
The cumulative volume of intra-city express delivery was 8.69 billion pieces, with a year-on-year growth of 19.7%.
The cumulative volume of inter-city express delivery was 83.75 billion pieces, with a year-on-year growth of 23.3%.
The cumulative volume of international / Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan express delivery was 1.98 billion pieces, with a year-on-year growth of 22.7%.
The business income of the postal industry (excluding the direct operating income of Postal Savings Bank) cumulatively reached 939.8 billion yuan, with a year-on-year growth of 10.8%.
The cumulative express delivery business income reached 763.78 billion yuan, with a year-on-year growth of 15.0%.
The proportions of express delivery volume in the eastern, central and western regions were 72.9%, 18.5% and 8.6% respectively, and the proportions of business income were 74.8%, 15.0% and 10.2% respectively.
