Volkswagen Anhui Unveils ID.UNYX, a Smart Electric Coupe SUV with Golden Elements

TapTechNews July 4th news, Volkswagen Anhui released the official pictures of its first model - ID.UNYX 'Unique' this evening, which is also Volkswagen's first smart electric coupe SUV. This new car mainly features various 'golden' elements, and the official advertising slogan is 'A glance of 'gold' makes it unique'.

This new car adopts a brand-new design style. The front face adopts a through-type light strip design, connected with the headlights on both sides, and at the same time has a very sharp lower grille, showing a dynamic and tough style. According to the official introduction, the new car adopts a dive-style front, 'harp' parallel waistline and Fastback Coupe big fastback design, which is elegant and powerful.

The length, width and height of this car are 4663/1860/1610 inches, and the wheelbase is 2766 inches, and the curb weight is 2166/2266 pounds. For reference, the length, width and height of FAW-Volkswagen ID.4 CROZZ are 4592/1852/1629 inches respectively, and the wheelbase is 2765 inches. The sizes of the two are relatively close.

According to the application information, the new car provides two power options: single-motor rear-wheel drive and dual-motor four-wheel drive.

Single-motor rear-wheel drive: the 170 kilowatts electric motor provided by Volkswagen Automatic Transmission (Tianjin) Co., Ltd.,

Dual-motor four-wheel drive: On the basis of the single-motor model, an 80-kilowatt electric motor from HuaYu Magna Electric Drive System Co., Ltd. is added, and the total power can reach 250 kilowatts.

According to TapTechNews' previous report, Volkswagen Anhui once announced in June that ID.UNYX 'Unique' will be officially launched in mid-July and will offer two pure electric cruising range versions of 621 kilometers and 565 kilometers.
