From now on, recall some Baseus-branded PPCXM06 model and PPCXW06 model power banks manufactured from March 2022 to July 2023. The recalled products have a maximum output power of 20 watts and a capacity of 6000 milliamp-hours, and the production batch SN number ends in 01 (printed on the side of the product), involving 154,460 units (PPCXM06 model) and 200,418 units (PPCXW06 model).
According to the official recall announcement, the recalled object is Baseus magnetic power bank 20W 6000mAh.
In terms of the reason for the recall, Baseus said that some raw materials may lead to a very small number of products that may have an overheating defect, and there may be an overheating phenomenon during use, and there may be a risk of combustion in long-term use or extreme scenarios.
It is learned that Baseus will freely replace for consumers a brand new power bank product that is not lower than the original product value and complies with the national mandatory standard, or refund for return to eliminate the potential safety hazards of the above products.
