Apple May Launch New HomePod with Screen and New AppleTV Models

TapTechNews July 5th news, the tech media MacRumors today posted a blog post, indicating that an unreleased HomeAccessory17,1 device was found in Apple's backend code, speculating that it is a HomePod product with a screen.

The current device identifier category doesn't have any Apple products, and the device model is very similar to the AudioAccessory identifier used by the HomePod, so it is most likely a HomePod product with a screen.

There is currently no appearance image of this product flowing out, but the code shows that this product will be equipped with the same A18 chip as the iPhone 16 series, and like the existing HomePod product, it is derived based on the tvOS system, and previously there was news that Apple is internally developing a dedicated homeOS system for the HomePod.

TapTechNews queried relevant reports, and the code also mentioned two unreleased AppleTV models, namely AppleTV14,4 and AppleTV14,5, and Apple may launch these two new products this year.
