TapTechNews July 2nd, Noctua today officially launched the second-generation product NH-D15G2 of its flagship air cooler, upgrading with eight heat pipes and a new fan, with an overseas price of 149.9 US dollars (TapTechNews note: currently about 1093 Chinese Yuan).
According to the introduction, Noctua NH-D15G2 flagship air cooler is equipped with upgraded NF-A14x25rG2PWM fan, eight heat pipes and asymmetrical heat sink fins, achieving better silent cooling performance than the previous generation, and the official claims that it can be comparable to many AIO all-in-one water cooling solutions.
Moreover, NH-D15G2 also adopts an offset structure to increase the gap towards the PCIe slot and improve compatibility; the upgrade adopts the SecurFirm2+ installation system, and the NM-SD1 screwdriver and NT-H2 thermal grease are included in the package.
NH-D15G2 provides a regular all-round model with a moderate bottom bulge and special LBC (for AM4/AM5) and HBC (for LGA1700) models to ensure better contact in different situations.
The new NF-A14x25rG2 circular-frame fan is also on sale simultaneously with NH-D15G2, and the square-frame version for water cooling radiators and chassis will be available in September:
