China Successfully recovers first reusable returnable satellite

The recovered payloads such as the plant and microbial breeding payload, the independent controllable and new technology verification test payload, the space science experiment payload, and the social welfare and cultural creativity payload have all been successfully recovered.

The Practice Nineteen satellite is an important new technology test satellite during China's 14th Five-Year Plan period. According to TapTechNews' previous report, the Practice Nineteen satellite was launched at the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center on September 27th, and through flight tests, it broke through key technologies such as reusable, nondestructive recovery, and high microgravity guarantee, verifying various technical indicators of the new-generation high-performance reusable returnable space test platform and achieving all expected test results.

The Practice Nineteen satellite has the characteristics of high microgravity level, good timeliness, and strong downlink capacity. It is an efficient high microgravity level space test platform that can support research in microgravity science and space life science. In this flight mission, space breeding, new technology verification, and space science experiments were carried out, focusing on promoting the development and application of new space technologies.
