TapTechNews August 27th, according to Taiwan media Benchlife.Info's report yesterday, AMD currently plans four desktop graphics cards with RDNA4 architecture.
The Taiwan media said that the 28WGP core with a scale of 16GB video memory capacity gfx1201 SKU corresponding to the GPU chip code R24D-E6 NAVI48XT1 that appeared in the GeekBench benchmark test database previously, and the video memory it carries belongs to GDDR6.
However, the NAVI48XT chip currently provided by AMD still belongs to the ES engineering sample version, and the drivers currently obtained by various downstream AIB manufacturers can only achieve boot-up tests, so the tested SKU frequency is only 2.1 GHz, and the resulting跑分 has no reference value at all.
In addition to NAVI48XT with the code R24D-E6, AMD has also prepared three other RDNA GPU variants with the codes R24D-E8, R25D-P8, and R25D-P4.
The report also said that AMD is expected to release the RDNA4 graphics card in January 2025, and the specific naming is likely to be the Radeon RX8000 series, but the official naming of these four graphics cards cannot be confirmed until the last moment.
TapTechNews note:
1 Taking AMD Radeon RX 7800 XT as an example, the specific model of the GPU chip used by this graphics card is Navi32XT.
