TapTechNews on August 22, according to the Customs Release news, Luohu Customs recently seized a case of a passenger carrying 80 game cards and smuggling them into the country through the inbound passenger inspection channel.
TapTechNews learned from the official notification that when the customs officer of Luohu Customs was supervising the inbound passengers, he found a passenger who did not declare to the customs and looked nervous and behaved abnormally, and then intercepted and inspected him.
Upon further inspection, the customs officer found 2 black plastic bags in the pocket of the person's pants, each containing 40 SWITCH game cards, and a total of 80 game cards were seized. The person admitted the fact that he carried the game cards through customs for others and received remuneration, attempting to evade customs supervision.
The customs reminds: According to Article 7 of the Regulations of the People's Republic of China on the Implementation of Customs Administrative Penalties, evading customs supervision by means of concealing, disguising, underreporting, false reporting or other means, transporting, carrying, mailing goods and items that are prohibited or restricted from entering or leaving the country or goods and items that should be taxed according to law is a smuggling act and will be held legally responsible.
