Sony PlayStationPortal to Be Released in Hong Kong and Taiwan in September 2024

TapTechNews July 29th news, Sony SIE officials officially announced today that the PlayStationPortal remote gaming console is scheduled to go on sale in Hong Kong and Taiwan, China on September 4, 2024, with suggested retail prices of HK$1580 (TapTechNews note: currently about 1471 RMB) and NT$6480 (currently about 1434 RMB) respectively.

The Sony PlayStationPortal is very suitable for players who live with their families, such as in the case where the living room TV may need to be shared with the family, or simply want to play PS5 games in another room at home. The PlayStationPortal will connect to the PS5 via Wi-Fi, allowing you to quickly switch from playing with the PS5 to playing with the PlayStationPortal.

The Sony PlayStationPortal combines the main features of the DualSense wireless controller, including adaptive triggers and haptic feedback, and uses an 8-inch LCD screen that can stream games at 1080p 60fps.
