TapTechNews found that the satellite was developed by the Institute of Telecommunication and Navigation Satellites, the Fifth Research Institute of China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation. This mission is the 538th flight of the Long March series of carrier rockets.
In recent years, with the successive successful launches of high-throughput communication satellites such as Zhongxing 16, Zhongxing 19, and Zhongxing 26, China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation's China Satcom has initially built the first high-orbit satellite internet that completely covers the entire territory of China and key areas along the Belt and Road initiative. The official also said that it will promote the construction of satellites with larger single-satellite capacity in the future.
