Gigabyte Launches X870EAORUSMASTER AMD 800-Series Motherboard

TapTechNews August 23rd news, Gigabyte's official website launched the first AMD 800-series motherboard - X870EAORUSMASTER yesterday local time. Judging from the naming, this motherboard is the regular sub-flagship model among Gigabyte's AMD 800-series motherboards.

The Gigabyte X870EAORUSMASTER motherboard adopts an 8-layer low-loss PCB, is equipped with 16 (TapTechNews note: 8+8 parallel) +2+2 phase power supply, is equipped with a dual EPS8Pin CPU auxiliary power supply interface, and is equipped with 4 memory slots, supporting DDR5-8200 overclocking.

X870EAORUSMASTER is equipped with 3 PCIe slots, which are all full-length physically. The first slot supports PCIe5.0×16, equipped with PCIeEZ-LatchPlus quick-release structure, and the other two are 4.0×4 and 3.0×4 respectively.

Gigabyte equips X870EAORUSMASTER with 3 M.2 solid-state hard drive slots of PCIe5.0×4, 2 of which need to share bandwidth with the main PCIe slot. The motherboard also provides 1 PCIe4.0×4 M.2 slot and 4 SATAIII interfaces.

In terms of network connection, X870EAORUSMASTER is equipped with a single Realtek 5GbE wired network card and provides a 5G RJ45 network port; in addition, the motherboard is equipped with a Qualcomm QCNCM865 wireless communication module, supporting Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.3.

X870EAORUSMASTER is also equipped with the Realtek ALC1220 on-board sound card, supporting DTS:XUltra sound effect and up to 7.1 channels.

The rear I/O panel of the Gigabyte X870EAORUSMASTER includes 2 USB4 40Gbps Type-C interfaces supporting DP output, 4 USB3.2 Gen2 Type-A interfaces, 4x USB5Gbps Type-A interfaces, 2 USB2.0 Type-A interfaces and 1 HDMI2.1 interface.

In terms of the front connection pins, the motherboard provides 1 set of USB3.2 Gen2×2 20Gbps connection pins, in addition to 2 sets of USB3.2 Gen1 connection pins and 2 sets of USB2.0 connection pins.
