TapTechNews July 4th news, Panasonic has newly launched the Lumix FZ82D bridge camera (BridgeCamera), which is positioned as the successor of the Lumix FZ82, using the 18-million-pixel CMOS sensor (1/2.3-inch format) and the zoom lens (with a 35mm equivalent focal length of 20-1200mm and a maximum aperture of f/2.8-f/5.9).
This means the size of the sensor is smaller than that of many mainstream smartphones, but the camera supports 60x optical zoom and also has image stabilization function, capable of shooting up to ten full-resolution photos per second, or recording 4K video at 30 frames per second.
Compared to the 2017 Lumix FZ82, the Panasonic Lumix FZ82D has added a USB-C port, the size of the electronic viewfinder is larger and the resolution is higher, reaching 2.36 million pixels, and the 3-inch touchscreen has also been upgraded from 1.04 million pixels to 1.84 million pixels.
The size of the Panasonic Lumix FZ82D bridge camera is 130.2 × 94.3 × 125.2 mm, the camera weighs 596 grams (640 grams with battery and card), and the price is $479.99 (TapTechNews note: currently about 3499 RMB).
