Tamron's 50-400mm Lens Z-Mount Version Expected Soon

TapTechNews August 25th news, Tamron launched a 50-400mm F4.5-6.3 Di III VC VXD full-frame zoom lens in August 2022, but only the Sony E-mount version was launched at that time. Today, the foreign media NikonRumors exposed the actual spy photos of the appearance of the Z-mount version of this lens, suggesting that this version of the lens is expected to be officially announced in the near future.

According to the introduction, this lens is expected to adopt a 18-group 24-element structure, with 9 aperture blades built-in, use a 67mm filter interface, and have an 8-times zoom ratio, and has a 1:2 magnification ratio within the 50-70mm focal length, and the closest focusing distance at the 50mm end is 0.25 meters (about 0.82 feet).

In terms of price, for comparison, TapTechNews learned that the standard list price of the E-mount version of this lens in the Chinese market is 8990 yuan ($1275.5), and it is expected that the specifications and price information of the Z-mount version of the lens will be similar.
