Sega's Lineup for Gamescom 2024 New Game and More

TapTechNews August 10th news, on August 9th, Sega announced the lineup for Gamescom 2024, including a yet-to-be-announced new game. Sega stated that this new work will further enrich the company's game lineup, but did not mention more details such as the name and gameplay.

Including the aforementioned mysterious game, Sega will bring a total of 3 games. The other two are 'Sonic × Shadow Generations Reboot' (making its first appearance in Europe and providing a playable demo), and 'Allegory Fantasy: ReFantazio' (making its first appearance in Europe), which will be the key projects in Sega's exhibition area at this year's show.

At the same time, 'Sonic' will be open for fans to take pictures with on the booth, and the customized Shadow motorcycle will also be on display; the giant Explorer statue in 'Allegory Fantasy: ReFantazio' will also make an appearance.

According to TapTechNews' previous report, the organizers said that this year's show will set a record compared to previous years, with more international manufacturers participating, and the number of exhibitors has increased by 10%, with exhibitors from more than 60 countries and regions participating, and there is a total of more than 230,000 square feet (about 21367.7 square meters) of exhibition space.

The 2024 Gamescom Opening Night Live hosted and produced by Geoff Keighley will return on August 20 local time in Germany, and the show will be held from August 21 to 25.
