Microsoft Invites Microsoft 365 Insider Program Members to Test QuickFix Feature in Windows Word

TapTechNews August 15th news, Microsoft released a press release yesterday (August 14th) inviting members of the Microsoft 365 Insider program to test the QuickFix feature in the Windows version of the Word application, which can solve multiple accessibility issues with one click.

TapTechNews note: Word currently already provides the AccessibilityAssistant feature, which allows users to easily mark accessibility issues in documents and provides repair suggestions to enable users to easily create accessible content.

However, solving each problem one by one by users may consume a lot of time, so Microsoft has launched a brand new QuickFix feature to help users solve multiple problems with one click.

The AccessibilityAssistant will group all related problems into a quick fix card. For example, if there are multiple color violation problems (similar hues) in the user's document, the related problems will be grouped into the Color and Contrast Quick Fix Card in the right pane of the screen.

Users can select the Quickfix card, and the AccessibilityAssistant provides users with color suggestions with higher contrast. Users can click Select All to fix all the problems in the document with one click.
