TapTechNews August 12th news, Stephen Chow's classic movie The God of Cookery was officially announced today that it will bereleased in mainland China on August 31st. It is worth mentioning that this film was released in Hong Kong in 1996 and was not released in mainland cinemas at that time, so this is the first release in the mainland after a lapse of 28 years.

The film is directed by Stephen Chow and Lee Lik-chi, starring Stephen Chow, Karen Mok, Nancy Sit, Ng Man-tat, and Vincent Kok. This will be the first time torelease a newly restored version. TapTechNews attaches a brief plot introduction:
