Motorola MotoG55 5G Phone Features, Specs, and More
TapTechNews August 22nd news, the tech media 91Mobile released a blog post today (August 22nd) sharing the high-definition renderings and promotional materials of the Motorola MotoG55 5G phone.
Design
The Motorola MotoG55 phone is positioned in the mid-to-low-end market and is the successor of the MotoG54 phone released last year. Judging from the exposed photos, the change in appearance is not significant.
The picture also shows that the bottom of the MotoG55 will be equipped with a 3.5mm headphone jack, placed side by side with the microphone, USB Type-C charging port and speaker grille.
Processor
Although the promotional materials did not reveal the specific chipset model, the picture shows that a MediaTek Dimensity 5G chip will be used.
Memory and Storage
The phone can be equipped with up to 8GB RAM + RAMBoost (virtual memory) and up to 256GB UFS2.2 internal storage.
Camera
The phone is equipped with a 50-megapixel main camera with an f/1.8 aperture, supporting OIS and QuadPDAF.
In addition, the phone is also equipped with an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera with an f/2.2 aperture and macro shooting function.
The front camera is 1600 megapixels with an f/2.4 aperture.
Battery
The phone is equipped with a 5000mAh battery and supports 30W wired fast charging.
Durability
The front display will be protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3, and the phone supports the IP54 dust and water resistance rating, while the dust and water resistance rating of the previous-generation product (G54) is only IP52.
Color
