TapTechNews May 15 news, although Microsoft has abandoned support for the Windows Mixed Reality platform, it still provides system updates for the HoloLens 2 mixed reality headset. In the update log released today, Microsoft has released the Windows Holographic 24H1 holographic update for it.
In the update log, Microsoft stated that the biggest improvement brought by the 24H1 update is the use of a shared Microsoft Entra account on HoloLens without the need for any credentials, thus providing the fastest login experience.
This setup is perfect for multiple users sharing the same set of HoloLens devices, needing access to Microsoft Entra resources (such as Dynamics 365 guidance content), and not needing to track who is using the device.
Another new feature is the method to find device network connection information. This feature has been added to the offline diagnostic feature to discover and fix any network connection problems.
The 24H1 update also improves eye-tracking calibration and other functions. TapTechNews provides the update log address, interested users can click here to read.
