Bandai Namco Announces New <em>BLEACH</em> 3D Fighting Game <em>BLEACH Rebirth of Souls</em> at AnimeExpo 2024

TapTechNews July 6th news, during AnimeExpo 2024, Bandai Namco announced a new 3D fighting game adaptation of the manga work BLEACH, BLEACH Rebirth of Souls, which is also the first standalone BLEACH game released by Bandai Namco.

This game has only been confirmed to be released on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, and PC (STEAM) platforms, supports Chinese, and the release date is undetermined.

Let all playable characters觉醒 (awaken in Chinese), and展开 (carry out) a reversed duel in an extreme situation, experience the dramatic fighting action game of 'one hit to kill'! Use the special Zanpakutō and Zan-Ken-Tō-Gei that has the style of BLEACH to展开 (carry out) extremely cool offense and defense battles. BLEACH is a shōnen manga created by Japanese manga artist Kubo Taito, serialized in the weekly magazine Shōnen Jump of Shueisha from issue 36・37 combined of 2001 to issue 38 of 2016, with a total of 74 volumes in a single volume.

In the setting of this work, a Shinigami is a messenger who sends the souls staying in the human world to the Soul Society or Hell. The protagonist of this work, Kurosaki Ichigo, is an ordinary high school student, but has an exceptionally strong spiritual talent. After meeting with the Shinigami Kuchiki Rukia, he became the agent of the Shinigami task and fought against the evil spirit Hollow and the enemies who tried to hurt his companions.

As of 2022, this work has been distributed over 130 million copies worldwide and is the seventh Shōnen Jump work with sales exceeding (exceeding) 100 million. In 2004, this work was adapted into the same-name TV animation and aired on Tokyo TV, coming to an end in 2012, and there are four theatrical version animations, and the final chapter animated version Thousand-Year Blood War Arc has been aired in October 2022.
